"I'm not enjoying the story, as most of it is sad. But I am enjoying reading about it, as it is written in a casual and inviting manner. And it's really not fair of me to say that it's a sad book, because there are light, happy and funny parts to it also. Which makes it real. I'm almost done with it, but I already know the ending (I always read the last chapter first:-)), and I think this book will be a merit to the soul of the departed. Beautiful book."

"I can't say my situation is similar, as everyone is different, but we all have our ups and downs, and coping through hard times is something we all must go through at one time or another. I felt like the author was able to verbalize my own feelings and thoughts, and walk me through them, vilifying me and letting me know that it's ok to sometimes have bad or scary thoughts. That it's normal. And she shows us what to do about it, and how we can cope, learn and grow from the experience. Obviously, every case is different, and not everything will work in every scenario. But as much as this book is a deep entrance into the author's life, it's also a self help book of sorts, that helps others (myself included) deal with their own situations. A must read for every person looking for inspiration. Kudos to the courageous Mrs. Rubinstein for allowing us to be part of her family and journey."
